Esso Football Coins
Was just looking in the collecting section for these but doesn't appear to be one there. I've just been saying on another site i have a set of the Esso F.A Cup centenary coins issued in 1972 (with the free red collectors card). I'll have to check if i have the full set (some are loose in a box) but they include the medallion for the 1972 F.A Cup winners Leeds United (v Arsenal). Are they of any value?

RE: Esso Football Coins
Value is in the eye of the non-beholder when it comes to collecting. On any normal day they might fetch a pound each but I've seen full sets go for 70 quid and I've seen them go for only five quid. These nomally fall into my category of costing to much to sell but nice to keep as they are always of interest to visitors.

RE: Esso Football Coins
Yep, seems they do go for around £1 each, but nice to keep as you say. Thanks. I'm thinking after having a bit of a clear out (joke in this house lol) that the only thing i may have of value might be my Abba souvenir programme, north american and european tour 1979. I've seen a few good prices for that, but it's been in the bottom of a drawer for years and dare say it will stay there with the memories
