Football Programmes

Over the past five or six years we have seen many newspaper articles about investing in rare football programmes. These tend to state the 1923 FA Cup Final programme as evidence of what you might make over time. That's like using the Mona Lisa as evidence that collecting paintings in also a good investment. If, in 10-70 years time, you find a “Mona Lisa” in your football programme collection then you are a better investor then most.

We would rather concentrate on the enjoyable hobby of collecting football programmes here. For this reason not all of our programmes would be worth more in years to come. In fact a great many football programmes are worthless to all but a small band of people who collect that team, that event. The are a great number of people who collect for information inside or indeed the images on the cover like those who collect all programmes with stadiums on the cover. We try to accommodate all sections and hope perhaps encourage new collections and collectors.
