Hills' Weekly football magazine, the Hill in the title perhaps best known for his years on Match of the Day (it's he with the larger than average sized chin.) but the younger reader might not know old Jimmy is and has been a much respected player, manager, chairman, journalist and sports personality, a long time before he became known for his often bizarre comments on MOTD. No, in fact Jimmy Hill as a player had a big impact on today's footballer by forcing the breakthrough on player wages. That incident has had far more impact on English football then even the more recent Bosman ruling. But perhaps most people today will be interested in these football magazines, which started life in the 1970s, for the late George Best weekly column.
